Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium ripe kiwi peeled and diced (about 1 cup / 150 g)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar 12 g
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice 30 ml
  • 2 cups chilled Sprite or lemon-lime soda 480 ml
  • Lime slices optional, for serving
  • Extra diced kiwi optional, for serving

  • 2 Tall serving glasses
  • Muddler or wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Divide the diced kiwi between two tall glasses.
  2. Add 1/2 tablespoon sugar to each glass.
  3. Muddle the kiwi and sugar with a muddler or wooden spoon until juicy but still slightly chunky.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon lime juice to each glass.
  5. Slowly pour 1 cup chilled Sprite into each glass.
  6. Stir gently once or twice. Garnish with lime slices or extra kiwi, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use ripe kiwi for the sweetest flavor and easiest muddling.
  • For a less sweet drink, use club soda instead of Sprite and add sugar to taste.
