Garlic Buttered Peas

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter 50 g
  • 2 garlic cloves finely minced
  • 1 lb frozen peas 500 g
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt or fine sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon water

Method
 

  1. Heat a large skillet or wide saucepan over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 20 to 30 seconds, stirring constantly until fragrant.
  3. Add the frozen peas, salt, black pepper, and water.
  4. Stir well, then cook over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir occasionally until the peas are tender, hot, and coated in garlic butter.
  6. Taste, adjust seasoning if needed, and serve warm.
