Ingredients
  

  • Classic mimosa version
  • 1 1/3 cups fresh orange juice chilled
  • 2 2/3 cups chilled champagne cava, or prosecco
  • 4 fresh strawberries for garnish
  • Vodka cocktail version
  • 6 oz vodka about 1 1/2 oz per drink
  • 2 cups fresh orange juice chilled
  • 1 cup sparkling water or prosecco optional
  • 4 fresh strawberries for garnish

Equipment

  • Tall serving glasses
  • Measuring cup
  • Small knife
  • Cutting board
  • Pitcher, optional

Method
 

  1. Chill the orange juice, alcohol, and serving glasses.
  2. For the classic mimosa version, pour orange juice into each glass, filling about one-third of the glass.
  3. Slowly top each glass with chilled champagne, cava, or prosecco.
  4. For the vodka cocktail version, add 1 to 1 1/2 oz vodka to each glass.
  5. Add chilled orange juice.
  6. Add a splash of sparkling water or prosecco if you want a lighter bubbly finish.
  7. Gently stir once if needed.
  8. Garnish each glass with a fresh strawberry.
  9. Serve immediately.
