Creamy homemade Oreo ice cream made with just Oreo cookies, sweetened condensed milk, and whipped heavy cream. No ice cream machine needed — simply fold, freeze, and scoop.

Ingredients
  

  • 18 Oreo cookies divided
  • 1 can 14 oz / 400 g sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups 480 ml cold heavy cream

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer
  • Zip-top bag
  • Rolling pin or meat mallet
  • Rubber spatula
  • Loaf pan or freezer-safe container
  • Plastic wrap
  • Ice cream scoop

Method
 

  1. Reserve a few Oreo cookies for topping.
  2. Place the remaining Oreos in a zip-top bag and crush into a mixture of fine crumbs and small chunks.
  3. Add the cold heavy cream to a large mixing bowl and whip until soft-to-medium peaks form.
  4. Add the sweetened condensed milk and gently combine until smooth.
  5. Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan or freezer-safe container and smooth the top.
  7. Press the reserved Oreo pieces into the surface.
  8. Cover tightly and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight.
  9. Let the ice cream soften at room temperature for about 5 minutes if needed, then scoop and serve.
