Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 1/4 cups chopped carrot 150 g
  • 1 cup chopped beetroot 150 g
  • 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp orange juice 200 mL

  • Large bowl or pitcher
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Measuring cup

Method
 

  1. Peel and chop the carrot and beetroot into small pieces.
  2. Peel and slice the banana.
  3. Add beetroot, carrot, banana, and orange juice to a blender. Blend until very smooth (about 45–90 seconds).
  4. Pour through a fine-mesh strainer into a bowl or pitcher. Press with a spoon/spatula to extract more juice.
  5. Serve over ice right away.

  • Beets stain easily; gloves help keep hands clean.
  • Straining is optional, but it makes the drink smoother and more “juice-like.”
