A thick, creamy blended drink made with avocado, dates, milk, and almonds, finished with crunchy almond flakes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 avocado
  • 11 dates
  • 3 cups milk 750 ml
  • 1/2 cup almonds 60 g
  • 3 tbsp sweetened condensed milk 40 g
  • 1/3 cup almond flakes 40 g

Method
 

  1. Peel the avocado and cut it into chunks.
  2. Add the milk, avocado chunks, dates, almonds, and sweetened condensed milk to a blender.
  3. Blend for 45–90 seconds (or until completely smooth), scraping down the blender if needed.
  4. Pour into glasses and top with almond flakes. Serve immediately or chill.

  • If your dates are dry, soak them in warm water for 5–10 minutes, drain, then blend.
  • For a smoother texture, blend longer or swap almonds for 2–3 tbsp almond butter.
  • To thin: add a splash of milk. To thicken: add a few more avocado chunks or 1–2 extra dates.
  • Dairy-free: use unsweetened almond milk or oat milk and adjust sweetness to taste.
