Ingredients
  

  • For the mousse
  • 5 oz white chocolate 140 g, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream cold (240 ml), divided
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened (115 g)
  • For garnish optional
  • White chocolate shavings

Method
 

  1. Add the chopped white chocolate to a heat-safe bowl.
  2. Warm about 1/4 cup (60 ml) of the heavy cream until hot, then pour it over the white chocolate. Let it sit for 1 minute and stir until smooth.
  3. Add the softened cream cheese to the melted white chocolate mixture and mix until creamy and fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the remaining 3/4 cup (180 ml) cold heavy cream until soft to medium peaks form.
  5. Fold the whipped cream gently into the white chocolate mixture in batches until smooth and fluffy.
  6. Spoon or pipe the mousse into serving glasses.
  7. Chill for at least 2 hours until set.
  8. Top with white chocolate shavings before serving, if desired.
